Couach launches superyacht Belongers
Two years after the introduction of the first 5000 Fly, superyacht La Pellegrina, yacht builder Couach launched the second hull in this 50 metre series, called Belongers.
The owner had a fundamental role in the design of his unique 49,9 metre yacht. In this particular case, the owner requested an extension to the upper deck, to accommodate a table for 14 guests, and he also created a private area of 100 square metres on the sundeck. The engineers at Couach completely redesigned these areas, however, the changes did not affected any system, the balance or the yacht’s performance.
Amongst several technological updates, probably the most remarkable one is the significant reduction of noise and vibration levels. This is the result of advanced acoustc studies, and a complete change in mounting methods.
Belongers is equipped with twin 5.226 hp MTU engines, providing a maximum speed of 28 knots and a cruising speed of 24 knots. Her equipment meets IMO standards and this, coupled with her range, would allow for transatlantc capabilites crossing at a speed of 12 knots.
