Considered the finest performance Wally to date and the pinnacle of grand prix racing cruisers, Wally 93 NAHITA was launched in 2018, after a build stage shrouded in secrecy and high-tech innovation.
Ultra-engineered for racing performance as well as cruising comfort, this 28.30m full carbon yacht is the result of a collaboration between the sailing industry’s finest minds, featuring naval architecture by Judel-Vrolijk, structural design by Pure Design & Engineering New Zealand, and an astonishing, ultra-pared back interior from Wally founder Luca Bassana, in a first-time partnership with couture homewares designer Sans Tabù.
Wally 93 NAHITA was built by Performance Yachts, a leading producer of carbon hulls, resulting in an ultra-light yacht with superb racing performance, featuring a displacement of just 35.5 tonnes and a lifting keel, reducing its 6.2m draft to 4.5m. The yacht will start surfing at 16 knots and easily exceeds true wind speed, and while the yacht is currently optimised for the light to medium winds found on the Mediterranean yachting circuit, it shows exceptional potential for ORC and other racing circuits further afield.
Yachting World called the Wally 93 a ‘missile on the water’, and with its jet black hull and towering charcoal sails, there’s no question the yacht is a racing thoroughbred: fast, agile, and almost fiercely beautiful. Wide teak decking appears flush yet hides a sunken cockpit, and guests can enjoy huge sunpads when not racing, or gather for drinks on the signature ‘terrace on the sea’ common to all Wally superyachts.
The yacht’s striking exterior is perfectly paired with its ultra-light interior, a stunning, almost futuristic interplay of black and white monochrome, constructed in carbon fibre for weight reduction. Sliding skylights open up to flood the living space with light from above, while soft white couches and crisp linens lend softness to the space-age interior. Wally 93 NAHITA accommodates up to 6 guests in 3 ensuite cabins, comprising a double berth master forward and double and twin cabins aft. Two crew are accommodated in a bunk cabin, with a dual purpose ensuite/day head for guest or race crew use.
The sale of Wally 93 NAHITA is an opportunity to own the finest performance Wally ever launched. Currently lying in Barcelona, this racing thoroughbred has an asking price of 11,750,000 EUR, ex VAT, and is listed exclusively with YACHT IN.
