Overcoming challenging winds and waves, we make our way to the city of Brindisi, where we pause for a well-deserved lunch and rest, recharging ourselves for the remainder of the journey.
Resuming our voyage, we face even stronger winds and waves, battling against the elements as we press forward. Finally, we arrive at the town of Polignano A Mare, where we find a gas station. It's our first bunkering stop since departing from Plataria, and it marks a significant milestone in our journey.
Undeterred by the challenges, we push ahead, propelled by the relentless power of the incredible TERM. The wind and waves continue to test our mettle, but we remain steadfast in our pursuit. As the day draws to a close, we arrive in Bari, where we stayed for the night. TERM was securely anchored in Marina Ranieri, ready for the adventures that await us on the following day.
DAY 2 - Vieste, Palagruza & Pakleni Islands - Speed and Serenity
As the golden rays of the morning sun grace the horizon, we prepare to embark on another day of exhilarating exploration with the RIBCO Venom 34 TERM. The anticipation mounts as we set sail from Bari, leaving behind the comforts of the marina and venturing into the unknown.
Our first stop of the day is the picturesque town of Vieste, where we take a short break to refuel. The efficiency and power of the RIBCO Venom 34 TERM ensure that our stop is swift, allowing us to continue our westward journey without delay.
Once back on the water, the RIBCO Venom 34 TERM truly comes into its own. Resuming our high-speed voyage, we continue towards the stunning island of Vis. TERM effortlessly cuts through the water, delivering an experience that is as exhilarating as it is comfortable.
Our final destination for the day is Pakleni Islands, where we find solace in the pristine waters of Vinogradisca bay. With a well-deserved refreshment in hand, we dive into the crystal-clear sea, reveling in the sense of freedom and adventure that the RIBCO Venom 34 TERM has provided us.
After the enchanting Pakleni Islands, with an average speed of 45-50 knots we arrive to our final destination - Podstrana, specifically Marina Lav.
As the sun sets on Day 2, we reflect on the incredible experiences we've had with TERM. Over the course of a day and a half, we have traversed more than 400 miles, all while witnessing the remarkable fuel efficiency of this extraordinary vessel, consuming merely 2 litres per mile.
